Enjoy the beer that you deserve.
An elegantly malty lager that ranges from light to pale in color, is light to medium-bodied, has a moderate alcohol content, and exhibits the unique color, toasty flavor, and aroma of Vienna malt.
This style is similar to the Marzen / Octoberfest style but has a slightly less sweet malt character.
As one would expect from its name, this style of amber lager originated in Vienna, Austria. It is considered the original amber lager style and was developed by Austrian brewer Anton Dreher in 1841 shortly after the isolation of lager yeast. The beer-style itself is no longer especially associated with the city.
