Pilsener

Style Family Snapshot

A style of beer that was originally brewed in the Bohemian town of Pilsen in 1842, and went on to become a very popular style to this day. This beer style is typically pale, golden-hued, highly hopped, and bottom-fermented. However, local adaptations, especially in Europe and North America show variation in attenuation levels, body, and bitterness.
