Wheat Beer

Style Family Snapshot

Any beer containing a high proportion of malted wheat. With the exception of Weizenbock, which is a high strength brew, most wheat beers are refreshing thirst-quenchers. All wheat beers use top-fermenting yeasts and many are bottle-conditioned. So, you may find a little sediment at the end of your pour. However, one example of the style is filtered and distinguishes itself from the other wheat beers by being “crystal clear”.
