Tulip Glass

The profile shape of this glass is close to that of the flower for which it is named, and has a gently reflex curve that flares slightly towards the lip.

Typical volumes are 12 and 16 ounces (355 and 473 milliliters).

This glass shape is effective at capturing the beer's aroma for the consumer. The flared opening allows both the beer and the foamy head to be sipped at the same time for a creamy mouthfeel.

Of course, use of the special shape provided by this glass presumes that the quality of beer being served supports such enjoyment.
