Enjoy the beer that you deserve.
Adlupulone is one of the compounds found in hops known as the beta acids. It is a part of the soft resin from the hopís lupulin glands. Unlike alpha acids, these compounds are not very soluble and provide very little bitterness to beer.
If oxidized during wort boiling or beer storage, beta acids like adlupulone may form bitter compounds.
The amount present in a given hop is expressed as a percent of the total beta acids in that hop.
