What it does :
Yeast energizers are used to revive a slow or stuck fermentation, which may occur with high gravity worts greater than 1.056.
What it is:
A variety of yeast energizer products are available, and these can contain a blend of di-ammonium phosphate, magnesium sulfate, yeast hulls, and vitamin B complex.
How it works:
Yeast energizers help to revive old and tired yeast. This in turn helps to stimulate a fermentation that has slowed down or become stuck.
1 teaspoon per 5 gallons at yeast addition or when racking to secondary.
Dissolve 1 teaspoon in a cup of boiling water, cool, add to the fermenter, and mix thoroughly.
