Regulators

What it does :

Needless to say, this is a fairly essential item for kegging your beer. It enables you to deliver the amount of gas pressure required, which depends on the storing temperature and style of the beer.

What it is:

A regulator is a device used to control the level of pressure that escapes from a carbon dioxide (CO2) tank.

How it works:

The regulator is connected to the top of the carbon dioxide tank. Special gaskets are required to ensure a tight seal. The line for dispensing the gas is then attached to the regulator. Be sure to follow the directions that come with your regulator and / or tank for proper use.

Preparation:

Regulators do not come into direct contact with the beer, so simply ensure that they are clean and in working order.
