Bottles

What it does :

Bottles keep your beer in convenient form for consuming at home or carrying to a friendís house. A typical beer bottle volume is 12 ounces (355 milliters).

What it is:

A bottle is a glass container for storing a single serving of beer.

How it works:

Bottle caps are required to seal the bottle for conditioning and storage. Brown glass is best to prevent light from degrading your beerís quality.

Preparation:

Bottles are used for the cold side of brewing (e.g. fermentation, bottling, and packaging). Bottles should be sanitized before use to prevent contamination of the beer.
