Taps

What it does :

From the tap, kegged beer flows into your glass or mug.

What it is:

A tap is a spigot-like device fitted to the end of the beer dispenser lines.

How it works:

Permanent, bar-style taps have fittings that both allow it to be connected to the beer dispenser lines and to mount it to a fixed serving position. These style taps can be decorated with attractive handles. Alternatively, smaller taps are simple, unadorned valves at the end of the dispenser line.

Preparation:

Taps dispense your mature beer for consumption. A careful and conscientious server will keep their taps clean and sanitize them between kegs.
