Measuring Spoons

What it does :

A set of measuring spoons helps you to gauge small quantities of ingredients for addition to the brew.

What it is:

Measuring spoons are sets of stainless steel spoons calibrated to contain small, commonly used units of volume. In English units, typical quantities for these would include tablespoon and teaspoon.

How it works:

Typical ingredients added in quantities appropriate for measuring spoons include spices and other flavorings for the wort, and finings for fermentation.

Preparation:

Measuring spoons may be used during either the hot side (e.g. wort preparation) and cold side (e.g. fermentation, bottling, and packaging) of brewing. For hot side use, they should be cleaned as you would anything else for food preparation. For cold side use, they should be sanitized if used to add something directly to the beer.
