Rubber Gaskets

What it does :

Rubber gaskets enable you to maintain a good seal with your swing-top beer bottles.

What it is:

A rubber gasket is a doughnut-shaped disk used to provide a tight seal for swing-top bottle stoppers.

How it works:

It is important maintain a good seal on your bottled beer to keep it fresh and carbonated. The gaskets on swing-top bottle stoppers wear over time and must be replaced.

Preparation:

Rubber gaskets are used for the cold side of brewing (e.g. fermentation, bottling, and packaging). The stopper gaskets come in contact with the beer during the bottle conditioning stage. So, they should be sanitized before use to prevent contamination.
