Scotmalt Golden Promise is a base malt, and can provide the main source of fermentable sugars for your beer. It will provide a base malt for all Scottish beers to your beer.

What it is:

Scotmalt Golden Promise is a barley malt that is pale straw, or 2.4 Lovibond, in color.

Preparation:

Scotmalt Golden Promise must be mashed to achieve starch conversion prior to boiling in the wort. You can use a variety of mashing schedules, depending on the characteristics of the beer you are trying to make.
