What it does : | Eroica hops are used primarily for bittering additions to your brew kettle. You can use Eroica hops to make the following beer styles: Amber Ale, Bitter, India Pale Ale, Pale Ale, Porter, Wheat Beer. Substitutes for Eroica hops include: Brewer's Gold, Bullion, Galena, Glacier. | ||||||||||||||||||
What it is: | The Eroica hop was developed from the Brewer's Gold hop variety. It was developed as a high alpha acid variety. Commercial production had nearly ceased by the late 1990's because of storage stability issues.
