The Super Styrian variety of hops was developed in Zalec, Yugoslovia (now Slovenia) in the 1970's. It's pedigree includes Northern Brewer. It is also known as the Aurora hop variety. The Super Styrian hop variety displays comparable aroma-flavor characteristics to Styrian Goldings and Saaz hop varieties.
